This blanket is designed to be laid over a winch cable when under tension for any reason, in the event of breakage of the winch cable the blanket will work to dampen the recoil – and help to reduce the chance of serious injury to anyone in the vicinity. These blankets are supplied with any Ironman winch but can be purchased separately.
